Art advisor and promoter with more than 15 years of experience working with collectors, artists, galleries, museums, and non-profit institutions. An avid collector and art enthusiast herself, Catalina is mostly known for her keen eye on identifying up-andcoming artists within the global sphere, her deep understanding of interior design for decorative proposals, as well her minutious attention to detail when it comes to handling artworks. Catalina has a Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts and a Master’s Degree in Art Business. Her studies and past experience as an art and design promoter, as well as her own interests in collecting, have granted her with a deep understanding of the collector’s mindset, helping her curate personalized, concept-driven collections, which combine the clients’ aesthetic and investment value interest.

Catalina M. Zambrano Vignau (Monterrey, Mexico, 1985) earned a Bachelor of Arts specialized in cultural management from the University of Monterrey (2011) and a Masters Degree in Art Business at Sotheby’s Institute of Art in New York, both with honors. From 2010 to 2017 she was part of the Andares ABP Development Committee, and part of the same association’s Board of Trustees from 2013 to 2017. During this time, she served as the leader of various fundraising strategies focusing on artistic and architectural promotion, giving a new twist to the operation of traditional philanthropic campaigns. In January 2018, Catalina went on to found Outsighter, an art consulting firm for new collectors as well as a digital promotion platform for contemporary art and collectible design. Since the end of 2019, she represents the ZONA MACO Art Fair as VIP Ambassador in Northern Mexico. She partnered with museum curator Gonzalo Ortega in January 2020 to form Zambrano Ortega Contemporary, a high profile art advisory, and directed its Private Collections branch until February 2022. The firm changed its name to Zambrano Contemporary in April 2022, after Ortega was appointed Director of the Arts Division for a prestigious private university in Mexico City. The firm continues to thrive under Catalina’s leadership, working with new and experienced collectors as well as architects and interior designers to meet each client’s specific thematic or aesthetic needs. Catalina was recently appointed Mexico Sales Consultant and Representative by Carpenters Workshop Gallery, after having conducted a very ambicious and successful Pop-Up exhibition with the gallery in her hometown of Monterrey, which would be the gallery’s first exhibition in Latin America. She currently lives and works in Monterrey, Mexico.
